My short story "Roller Coaster" will be published in One for Each Night
I am writing from New Vessel Press to request permission to reprint your short story "Roller Coaster" in a collection of Chanukah stories to be published on September 12, 2023...The title of the book: One for Each Night: The Greatest Chanukah Stories of All Time.
I received a very early Chanukah 2023 present this year and it's my birthday this week, so it's perfect.
Thank you Michael Wise for selecting my story for this exciting Chaunkah anthology. I am honored to be part of this project. "Roller Coaster" was originally published in 2011 in Jewish Fiction and later in my novel-in-stories White Zion (Cervena Barva Press, 2019). It means a lot to me that it continues to resonate with readers a decade after I first wrote it. I've had one of the busiest last twelve months I can remember, and my writing and publishing career has been pushed aside, but this reminds me how much I miss it. I must go back as soon as I can.
